SSI SCHAEFER, as the general contractor for logistics, built the new high bay warehouse for electronic tools, garden tools, and accessories of the Bosch product range.
The objective was economic handling of the entire logistics operations for small-volume national distribution and large-volume international distribution of 20,000 different products for do-it-yourself (DIY) and professional needs. Real-time, national, and international handling of logistics processes with regard to small parts and large-volume units are special requirements in the DIY sector and therefore represent an extraordinary challenge.
